Product Details

An OB/GYN in Kuala Lumpur told me she does about eighteen pelvic exams on a busy morning, each requiring the table to cycle through three or four positions—entry, lithotomy, Trendelenburg for the occasional vasovagal episode, and back to exit. On a manual hydraulic table, that’s nearly a hundred foot-pump cycles before lunch, and her right calf was visibly more developed than her left. The AM-CLK replaces all that pumping with electric actuators: height, backrest, Trendelenburg tilt, and lithotomy positioning are all motorized and controlled from a hand pendant or a foot switch. The table moves smoothly and silently—no hydraulic whine, no sudden drops when you release a valve too quickly—and the positions are reproducible because the controller remembers them.

The height range is 580 mm to 980 mm, wider than our hydraulic table because the electric actuator has a longer stroke than a manual pump cylinder can practically provide. The backrest adjusts from 0 to 75 degrees, higher than the JJK’s 60 degrees, which means you can sit a patient upright for consultation without transferring to a separate chair. Trendelenburg tilt reaches 20 degrees, and the reverse Trendelenburg—head up, feet down—goes to 12 degrees, useful for patients with respiratory compromise who can’t tolerate being flat. The lithotomy positioning is fully motorized: the leg supports extend, raise, and laterally rotate with independent control, so you can position each leg separately, which matters for patients with hip replacements, contractures, or unilateral pathology.

The table top is the same seamless PVC-over-foam design as our hydraulic model, but with an additional gel layer in the seat and backrest sections that reduces pressure points during longer procedures—colposcopies, IUD insertions that get complicated, minor surgical procedures done in-office. The perineal cutout has a removable cushion insert, so when you’re not doing a pelvic exam, the table functions as a flat surface. The drainage tray is stainless steel, removable for sterilization, and the paper roll holder is integrated into the head section with a tear bar.

The control pendant is IPX4-rated against fluid splashes—this matters in a gynecology setting—and the cable is long enough to reach from either side of the table. Four programmable memory positions let you set your most-used configurations: one button for patient entry, one for exam, one for procedure, one for exit. The base has four locking casters and a central locking pedal that engages all four simultaneously. The frame is epoxy-coated steel with a 200 kg load capacity.

The CLK costs more than the JJK hydraulic table, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. What you’re paying for is speed, precision, and the reduction in physical effort that translates to less fatigue for the clinician and a smoother, less alarming experience for the patient. If your practice volume warrants it—and most busy OB/GYN clinics hit that threshold quickly—the math works out in fewer repetitive-strain injuries and faster room turnover.
