Product Details

Yes, this is a pet stretcher. And yes, I put it in our emergency category on purpose. Here’s why: I’ve watched a vet team try to carry a sedated 45-kilogram German Shepherd from an X-ray table to a recovery kennel using a blanket and four sets of hands. It was undignified for the dog and unsafe for the staff. A proper stretcher designed for animal patients — with the right dimensions, the right restraint system, and the right weight distribution — changes that entire scenario. The AM-F011X is the only stretcher in our emergency line built specifically for veterinary use, and the design decisions reflect that.

The frame is 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with an anodized finish. That’s the same grade of aluminum we use in our human stretchers — no corners cut. But the dimensions are different. Unfolded, it’s 180 by 55 by 80 centimeters — longer and narrower than a human stretcher, because animal patients are built differently. The 600D Oxford fabric platform is waterproof and removable. In a vet clinic, that’s non-negotiable. Animals bleed, drool, vomit, and occasionally lose bladder control under sedation. The platform comes off, goes through a wash cycle, and goes back on. No biohazard buildup. No cross-contamination between patients.

The four 6-inch universal castors — two with brakes — let one person maneuver a loaded stretcher through clinic hallways. The handle height adjusts from 90 to 105 centimeters, which accommodates different staff heights without anyone having to hunch or reach. These sound like small things, but in a busy clinic where staff are moving patients all day, ergonomics aren’t a luxury — they’re an injury-prevention measure. Vet staff have some of the highest workplace injury rates in healthcare, and a lot of it comes down to lifting and transferring heavy animals without proper equipment.

The restraint system is black straps with quick-release buckles — simple, reliable, and easy to adjust for different body shapes. A Greyhound, a Bulldog, and a Maine Coon cat all need different strap configurations, and the system accommodates that without complicated buckles that slow you down when you’re trying to get an anxious animal secured.

Load capacity is 50 kilograms. That covers most medium-to-large dog breeds. For giant breeds north of 50 kilos, you’ll want a different solution — but for the 90% of veterinary patients that fall within that range, this stretcher does exactly what it’s supposed to do. We ship these to vet clinics, animal rescue organizations, and wildlife rehabilitation centers. Same ISO 13485 certification, same CE mark. Different patient population, same standard of care.
