I’ll admit something: when our product team first pitched a round grooming table, I didn’t get it. Every table in the catalog was oval or rectangular — groomers I’d talked to wanted surface area, not circles. Then I spent a morning watching a cat groomer in Shanghai work. Her station was in a corner, tight space, and she moved around the animal constantly — left side, right side, back, face, back to the side. She wasn’t walking around the table. She was rotating the animal. A round top with swivel capability would’ve cut her repositioning time by half. Two months later, the AM-LED Round Top was in production.
The Round Top is our compact LED grooming table built around a single insight: in small salons and corner stations, rotating the work surface is faster than walking around it. The tabletop is sixty centimeters in diameter — tempered frosted glass with embedded LED strips — and it rotates a full three hundred sixty degrees. That means a groomer planted in one spot can scissor the entire perimeter of a dog or cat without taking a step. In a six-by-six-foot grooming station, that’s not a luxury. It’s the difference between working efficiently and constantly bumping into your own equipment cart.
The LEDs are controlled by a rotary switch, and the frosted glass diffuses the light evenly — no bright spots or shadows on the coat. When you’re grooming a dark-coated dog under overhead fluorescent panels, the underside of the animal sits in shadow. You miss matting. You miss skin issues. You miss subtle unevenness in a scissor cut that becomes obvious when the owner takes the dog into sunlight. Backlighting from the table surface eliminates those shadows. The glass also has anti-slip and anti-wear properties, and it’s easier to disinfect between grooms than textured rubber — a genuine consideration when you’re moving from a Springer Spaniel with a skin condition to a healthy Pomeranian ten minutes later.
Height adjustment is motor-driven with manual control, ranging from seventy-two to a hundred and four point five centimeters. The base is welded from carbon steel tubing at one point two millimeters thickness — not the thickest steel in our lineup, but the round top has a smaller diameter than our oval tables, so the leverage forces on the base are proportionally lower. Adjustable feet at the bottom compensate for uneven floors, which is about eighty percent of real-world grooming spaces. Very few salons have perfectly level flooring.
The boom arm is a foldable design in two hundred one stainless steel: seventy-four centimeters vertical, thirty-five centimeters horizontal, with a woven restraint rope. It adjusts vertically and folds down for storage or transport. At sixty centimeters diameter, the tabletop is intentionally compact — this isn’t the table for a Saint Bernard full groom. It’s built for small to medium breeds, cats, and groomers working in tight urban salons where every square meter of floor space is expensive.
